WWF anticipate a 40% sea ice decrease over the next 30 years. This is the single greatest threat to polar bears as they are uniquely adapted to live on sea ice and its rapidly disappearing.
At MyPlunge we are determined to make a positive impact on our world. That's why we are committed to making contributions to WWF's Save The Arctic project. Climate change, caused by global warming, is resulting in the melting of polar ice caps. The rate of loss of Arctic sea ice amounts to nearly 13% per decade, and in the last three decades alone, the oldest and thickest ice in the Arctic has decreased by an alarming 95%. If greenhouse gas emissions continue to increase without control, there is a possibility that the Arctic could be entirely ice-free during summer by 2040. The impact of this loss of sea ice extends beyond the Arctic, affecting our entire world
